Haulfryn are committed to continually improve our services by training and development of staff, we proactively encourage staff to develop themselves to the highest level possible.

The Registered Manager, Clare Roberts, has been trained in the following areas:

Clare has over thirteen years of experience in the residential care of elderly, and over twenty years of contact with Haulfryn.

The Responsible Individual, Peter Regan, has been trained in the following areas:


  • Engineering Science and Mathematics
  • Workshop Technology
  • Workshop Processes and Practice
  • Engineering Construction and Materials
  • Engineering Production Parts 1 & 2
  • Engineering Drawing and Materials
  • Project Engineering
  • Full Technological Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
  • A3 Quality Assurance Management
  • IOSH Health and Safety Management

Peter has over 28 years' experience of management, 17 of which is within a care setting. Peter has been a partner and Director of Haulfryn since 2001 and has steered the organisation through many changes. Peter uses his quality assurance background to ensure that Haulfryn is always striving for continuous improvement. Peter has been actively involved with the development of an Advanced Dementia Care Specification with the North Wales Commissioning Hub and both Peter and Clare are actively involved with Flintshire County Council driving working partnerships and improvements.

All staff receive training in the following areas:
